- Beginner Workshops Information
Grassland, Soil and Water Research Laboratory and Blackland Research Center cosponsor two-day workshops periodically. These workshops are designed to introduce new users to the model, review necessary and optional inputs, and familiarize the user with the ArcGIS interfaces.
It is assumed that attendees have a working knowledge of ArcGIS. The two-day workshop will not review basic concepts on ArcGIS usage prior to covering the SWAT/ArcGIS interface. Workshop fees are $500 (US dollars) per person. Graduate students pay a reduced fee of $300. Payment is required at the time of registration. Cancellation Policy for all training is a minimum fee of $50 and $100 if canceled two weeks prior to course.
- Advanced Workshops Information
This course will cover sensitivity analysis, model calibration, and uncertainty analysis using the 2012 version of SWAT with an ArcGIS interface. In addition, day three of the course will be devoted to discussion of participant's individual model issues (e.g. model setup, scenarios, calibration, and validation). Cost for the two-day training is $500 per person / $300 for students. Cancellation Policy for all training is a minimum fee of $50 and $100 if canceled two weeks prior to course.
Advanced Workshop using BASINS-SWAT are based on individual projects using datasets including calibration and validation.
- Advanced Data Processing for ArcSWAT Information
The one-day Advanced Data Processing for ArcSWAT will provide users with the tools on extracting and formatting publicly available datasets for ArcSWAT (SSURGO, NEXRAD, crop data layers and point rainfall). The workshop fee is $200. Cancellation Policy for all training is a minimum fee of $50 and $100 if canceled two weeks prior to course.
