The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) is a public domain model jointly developed by USDA Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) and Texas AgriLife Research, part of The Texas A&M University System.
SWAT is a small watershed to river basin-scale model to simulate the quality and quantity of surface and ground water and predict the environmental impact of land use, land management practices, and climate change.
SWAT is widely used in assessing soil erosion prevention and control, non-point source pollution control and regional management in watersheds.

Participants from India: We received a message from the French Institute of India. For participation in a conference and fewer than 90 days spend in France, paying an ordinary visa is sufficient. You do not need original invitation letters sent by mail.

The conference is located at the Paul Sabatier University. Registration coming soon!
Conference Registration Regular Student Early - received by May 15, 2013 $400 USD $200 USD Regular - received after May 15, 2013 $450 USD $250 USD Conference registration fee includes conference materials, lunch, reception, social dinner, morning and afternoon breaks and a half-day tour of Toulouse (airbus tour of city center or Garonne River by boat).
Cancellation Policy: Participants who cancel by May 15, 2013 will receive 70 percent of registration fee. Participants who cancel after May 15, 2013 will receive 25 percent of registration fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations after June 30, 2013.
- Workshops

The workshops will be located at Paul Sabatier University. They will be offered concurrently on July 15-16 with a limit of 20 seats available for each workshop. Registration coming soon!
Workshop Regular Student Introductory SWAT $300 USD $150 USD Advanced SWAT (No more seats available) $300 USD $150 USD Workshop registration fee includes workshop manual and morning and afternoon break.
Cancellation Policy: There will be no refunds for cancellations.

Abstract submission deadline: April 15, 2013 (submission is now closed)
Paper submission deadline: July 1, 2013 - Read the paper guidelines - MS Word versionYou must submit your abstract to receive an invitation letter.
Conference proceedings will be published after the conference. In addition, selected high quality papers will have the opportunity to be published in one of three journals listed below based on the topic or theme of the paper and user's choice (only if there are enough papers to warrant a special volume of the journal).
International Journal of Limnology (INTJLIM)
The International Journal of Limnology publishes papers on the ecology of freshwater systems, ranging from studies of aquatic organisms, physical and chemical works which relate to the biological environment, to ecological applications and frameworks for water management directives.More journals to come...

The application for the grants is now closed, as we have had lots of applicants and we had already selected the qualified students in consideration of their conditions and the opinions of the scientific committee. However, we will put the other candidates in the waiting list. In case any awarded student would not be able to come, the additionally selected students will be informed.
